It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tripp Haggard, our “Keeper of the Smoke”. As our cookoff was in large part coordinated and ramrodded by Tripp, those of us remaining are rather lost at the moment on how to proceed. Because we feel strongly that the integrity and quality of the event must be maintained, we have decided to postpone the 2015 cookoff until next year. We will regain our momentum and come back better than ever next year. Please check this website occasionally for updates on our progress.

Big things are happening!
The Oklahoma Championship Steak Cook-off is proud to announce that we are teaming up with Tulsa’s Young Professionals (TYPros) to ensure that the 2014 version is the biggest and best yet.
We are also pleased to trumpet the news that the U. S. Invitational Steak Championship is coming to Tulsa on August 22. Teams from across the nation will compete to find the one true American Champion.
So, two days of steak cooking, live music, great beverages, and most of all delicious food. It’s all happening August 22 & 23 in the heart of downtown.
Friday night will feature great bands, food trucks and lots of adult activities starting at 5 P.M. in an area around the big stage at 6th and Cincinnati.
Saturday morning will see more cooking teams moving in to compete for the chance to be Oklahoma’s King of the steak. Appetizers will again be passed out in the afternoon, music will play from two stages and vendors featuring Made In Oklahoma products will offer their wares.
There will be a NEW Kid and Family Zone along with a massive car show with over 100 exotic and specialty cars. This year Leake Car Auctions will be giving away trophies in several categories.
As always profits from the OCSC benefit YOUR community. This year a portion will go to TYPros to assist the Tulsa Zoo; while OCSC will also donate funds to Our Garden Project and others.
More information will soon begin popping up on this web site, so come in and look around and buy a ticket to the largest steak dinner in the Sooner state. Mainly plan on being at the only two day celebration of steak in America…the 6th Annual Oklahoma Championship Steak Cook-off.
We will look for you, Downtown August 22 & 23 2014
